Although slightly smaller than what I was expecting (I think I estimated incorrectly), they are exactly what I was looking for. The finish I chose has a greenish tinge to it, which makes the overall look even more "ocean art deco", and they will be perfect. To open it you pull it from the bottom of the shell, which I didn't realize, but it makes no difference to the effectiveness or look.
