Not real wood, but it seems sturdily built. Great for someone who can't afford the real thing. Lots and LOTS of pieces, but instructions are pretty clear.

fit our purpose for bathroom storage

Although assembly was quite time consuming the outcome was satisfactory. The instructions could have been clearer at certain points, too.
